Job Description:


Job Summary:

Chloeta is seeking an Accounting Analyst to join our corporate Accounting Department at our Oklahoma City headquarters. The position will be in person and primarily working with internal and external clients, accounting staff and others as needed. Candidates should have very strong organizational and multi-tasking skills along with an upbeat, positive attitude and a willingness to grow with the company.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Job Classification:Full time, no remote

Duty Location: Chloeta Corporate Headquarters (Cedar Lake Plaza, OKC, OK)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain accounting records
  • Create financial reports from company databases
  • Manage financial records, accounts, and ledgers
  • Reconcile and balance financial statements monthly
  • Record and process bank deposits
  • Reconcile bank statements and other account statements
  • Investigate, identify, and resolve accounting discrepancies and problems
  • Code and process invoices for payment
  • Input manual checks, credit card transactions, and other financial charges or refunds
  • Record purchases, sales and cost of sales
  • Ensure that all receivables are invoiced, tracked, and received.
  • Track expenditures for budgets and provide monthly reporting to department managers
  • Organize and store financial records
  • Assist with accounting-related duties

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities

Education and Experience:

  • Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Required: Experience with technology including, but not limited to: email, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, printing, scanning, etc.
  • Required: Highly reliable and very strong organizational/multi-tasking skills
  • Required: Be a U.S. Citizen or eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Required: 10 years of experience in an administration or accounting position
  • Required: The ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
  • Preferred: Associate degree in accounting or equivalent work experience.
  • Preferred: Paycom and/or Deltek experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Salary: $45,000-$50,000 annually

Pre-employment Requirements:

Drug and Alcohol Testing:

To enforce Chloeta’s Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy, an employee or candidate could be subject to undergoing a drug screen and/or alcohol testing during or at the beginning of employment.

Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA):

Under the FCRA, Chloeta may request a credit check during the onboarding process. A written authorization form will be required before obtaining credit records.

Emergency Response:

Every Chloeta employee has regular and recurring emergency management responsibilities, though not every position requires routine deployment to disaster sites. All positions are subject to recall around the clock for emergency management operations, which may require irregular work hours, work at locations other than the official Duty Station, and may include duties other than those specified in the employee's official Position Description (PD). Travel requirements in support of emergency operations may be extensive in nature (weeks to months), with little advance notice, and may require employees to relocate to emergency sites with physically austere and operationally challenging conditions.
